Hand Painted Roses on a Recycled Denim Jacket

I love painting on fabric and have previous posts on painting shirts and jeans (please see the index)

This denim jacket has been packed away in the loft for years and my husband has always thought I should wear it. Soooo I brought it down and tried it on only to find it has shrunk (in the loft? lol) mmm maybe it's not the jacket.

I reckon I can still wear it so decided to jazz it up with a few of my favourite things - roses, butterflies, angels and glitter

I punched an  Iron-on Hot Fix glitter product with angel's wings  and butterflies dies - both from Sizzix

The paint I used is So Soft Fabric Paint from Decoart - this is a description from their website

Product Description:
DecoArt SoSoft Fabric Paint is the softest fabric acrylic paint on the market. It is permanent; requires no heat setting; and is extremely soft and flexible to the touch. It adheres to all textiles and will not crack, peel, or harden.

They are soft, like fabric dyes, but do not require the addition of a medium or heat setting. SoSoft Fabric Acrylic paints are permanent and can be brushed, stamped, sponged, or stenciled on.

I love this paint and it really does live up to the description

I think I will wear this now.........
